A Cherokee County School District elementary school has earned statewide recognition for outstanding growth in student reading skills! Mountain Road Elementary School is one of only 155 schools statewide to be honored this month as Literacy Leaders by the Georgia Department of Education.
Today’s #CCSDGives project is the districtwide effort to support Cherokee Thanksgiving! CCSD students learn the value of service year-round through charitable projects and volunteering. During the holiday season, our schools stay especially busy with these projects. The CCSD Educators Hall of Fame recognizes retired educators who made significant contributions during their career in CCSD and left a lasting positive impact on the lives of students, colleagues and our community.
